In order to increase the transparency and adapt to the increasing internationalization ROCKWOOL Marine & Offshore has introduced a series of new international MED certificates and product names.
Classification Bureaus
Rockwool Marine & Offshore have a large number of certificates from classification companies, based on fire tests made at IMO approved fire institutes.
Countries
Insulation materials used in the marine sector must meet strict requirements; especially fire resistance, moisture repellence and sound insulation are given high priority. Rockwool insulation materials are made of stone and possess very favourable properties within these fields.
